Terms of Service

1. Purpose and Scope

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the NLTS – NBA Intelligence Platform (the “Service”) provided under the trade name “NLTS” (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. NLTS does not provide financial, investment, betting, or gambling advice. Nothing on the Service constitutes a recommendation to place a wager, make a financial decision, or engage in any gambling activity. You acknowledge that any decisions you make based on information provided by the Service are made at your own risk.

2. Description of the Service

NLTS provides: real-time and historical basketball statistics; player and team rankings; AI-generated performance analysis and contextual insights; influence scoring based on publicly available information; and conversational AI features. Features may vary between free and paid plans. We may add, modify, or remove features with reasonable notice.

3. Eligibility and Account Creation

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, not share your account, and notify us immediately at support@nlts.app of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations (including gambling, betting, financial, or data protection rules)
  • Use the Service to provide or facilitate betting, gambling, or regulated investment services without appropriate authorization
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) except through officially authorized APIs
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the Service except where permitted by applicable law
  • Upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content

5. AI Disclaimer and No Betting / Financial Advice

The Service relies in part on artificial intelligence and algorithmic models to generate analyses, scores, and insights about NBA players, teams, and games. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • All AI outputs, predictions, scores, and analyses are generated on a best‑effort and probabilistic basis and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.
  • The information provided does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or betting/gambling advice of any kind.
  • We do not encourage or promote sports betting or gambling; any use of the Service for betting or gambling decisions is at your sole risk and responsibility.
  • We do not guarantee any sports, financial, or performance result or outcome based on the data or analyses provided.

You remain solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on the information obtained from the Service.

6. Intellectual Property and License

All intellectual property rights in and to the Service belong to the Company or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for lawful purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works except as expressly authorized or permitted by law.

7. Free and Paid Plans

We may offer free and paid subscription plans. Pricing and features are described on the pricing page and in the Terms of Sale. Payments for paid plans are processed by Stripe, acting as Merchant of Record. We may modify plans and pricing with reasonable prior notice; changes do not affect already paid billing periods.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or opportunity arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service.

AI-generated analyses, projections, and insights are probabilistic in nature and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Users remain solely responsible for any decisions made based on the Service.

For paying users, total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. For free users, total aggregate liability shall be limited to one hundred (100) euros.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or other non-excludable liability under mandatory law.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access without prior notice if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or in case of fraudulent or abusive activity. You may terminate your account at any time via account settings or by contacting support@nlts.app. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided in the Terms of Sale or mandatory law.

10. Personal Data

Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable prior notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute and failing amicable resolution, the competent courts of France shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply.
